Qonfluens is an environmental research and consulting firm, specializing in epidemiological ecology and ecotoxicology.
We explore how living organisms interact with each other and their environments—and how they respond to environmental, chemical, and pathogen-related stressors driven by land use and human activities, both past and present. Our work spans the continuum from lab to landscape, linking controlled experiments to real-world ecological complexity.
Founded in April 2022, we started as a partner for academic research, but our mission goes further: we build bridges between experimental data and real-world ecosystems. Our expertise lies in developing cutting-edge models that connect laboratory findings—on toxicology and pathogens—to large-scale ecological dynamics. We study how chemical and biological stressors (viruses, bacteria, pollutants) vary across space and time, shaping the health of wild flora and fauna.
At the heart of our work is epidemiological and ecological modeling. We transform lab and mesocosm data into predictive tools, helping to understand and mitigate risks at the landscape level. By integrating experimental rigor with spatial and temporal complexity, we provide actionable insights for wildlife, ecosystems, and environmental management.
